Gabriella and I purchased our 726 sf home in Spring 2007, planning to expand sometime in the future. Phase One was an interior remodel to enhance this architect designed, mid-century modern cottage and make it feel much larger. A clean, simple, and elegant approach to the remodel was the natural solution as well as incorporating earth friendly materials and methods. The installation of a Jotul wood burning stove on a bamboo and blue stone hearth acts as a focal point and has made our home the preferred location for extended family events... the biggest compliment of all!
